On October 21st 2021, ISRS Senior Fellow Peter Domican will be taking part in a panel discussion on "A Pandemic Story: What We Can Learn From Healthcare's Data Revolution" as part of Chief Disruptor LIVE October 2021, taking place at Millbank Tower, London.

Peter is the co-author of ISRS white papers on ‘Trustable Software’ and ‘Digital Resilience’. He is currently working on the issues affecting preventive health including the adoption of new technology and the resilience lessons arising from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Speaking about the invitation, Peter commented ‘I’m delighted to have the opportunity to be part of this panel. The potential to use technology and data to help clinicians prevent and treat disease more effectively has been apparent for some time. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has, from necessity, accelerated the use of data sharing and analytics in decision making. In doing so, this provides both resilience challenges and opportunities, not just for the healthcare industry but for the wider economy and for society.’
